+Room choice covers different budgets. A regular double without air conditioning starts around four thousand taka per night, while the Sangu View rooms with balcony and the family Tongaboti Premium rooms cost around eight thousand, still reasonable for this position.

+The kitchen prepares traditional hill food at fair prices, including bamboo chicken cooked inside a bamboo tube, a local speciality that is difficult to find done properly in Bandarban town.

-Foreigners travelling in the Chittagong Hill Tracts must deal with permits and army or police checkpoints, and access to some areas beyond Chimbuk can be closed for security reasons at short notice. Travel here needs preparation that a normal beach or city trip does not require.

-The road from Bandarban climbs in tight hairpins with steep gradients. Guests who suffer from motion sickness will not enjoy the ride, and after dark the road is not a place to drive for anyone unfamiliar with it.

-Outside the resort there is essentially nothing after sunset. No shops, no restaurants, no town life. For two nights this is peace, for longer it may feel isolated.
